Leaders ‘don’t understand the revolution’

Old attitudes still dominate the thinking of many public sector leaders, who fail to grasp the revolutionary potential of technology in public services, according to one of the former leaders of the government’s transformation campaign.
Chris Chant says that too many leaders see initiatives such as the G-Cloud, which he set up during his time at the Cabinet Office, in isolation rather than as parts of a broad transformation. If they don’t get the broader vision it’s going to hold back their organisations undermine public trust. They have to wake up to the revolution now.
