As we celebrate Rainmaker’s 10th year in business, I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to the new breed of outstanding Rainmakers!
David Bryant (aka The Bull) joined towards the end of 2019 from Barclays and is well known to us as a HotChillee Ride Captain. He was, of course, the absolute legend who rode a very heavy single-speed Qhubeka bike up the Tourmalet to raise a fortune for the Buffalo Foundation.
Dimitri Nicolaides (aka Dimi) joined us from Vodafone in the New Year and is also well known to us from his HotChillee Ride Captain role and support of the Buffalo Foundation.
But we don’t just hire cyclists.
Loraine Kiely joined us a few months ago from somewhere brilliant, I’m sure (Australia apparently). Not only is Loraine a service design rockstar, but she has a vast amount of experience in many things we do at Rainmaker and is already making a massive difference.
Nicola Booty started last month as a Delivery Manager. Nicola has extensive experience working on large, complex projects, most recently with Accenture.
I’m also delighted to announce that Mark Compton-James will be joining Rainmaker very soon. Mark is an epic digital transformation strategist and has led a multitude of key technology programmes in the private as well as public sectors.
And we have finally nabbed Mark Sanwell. Mark was a client of ours a couple of years ago and enjoyed working with us so much that he was very keen to join as soon as we had space for his considerable talents. (We like Mark, he also rides bikes.)
2020 is going to be incredibly busy and our client teams are currently working with one of the largest councils in Europe, a police service company and a government department, with several other projects in the pipeline. Furthermore, the Collaboration Foundry that we co-hosted with our strategic partner Slack last month was a great success and we’re planning a series of events throughout the year.
We’re therefore looking for more awesome Rainmakers to fill several key roles in account management, business analysis and service design, so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you’ve got what it takes to be a Rainmaker. Let’s make a difference!
