With the heightening worry around the Coronavirus outbreak, we would like to reassure our clients and strategic business partners that Rainmaker will be maintaining continuity of our high service standards and responsibilities.
One of the founding principles of Rainmaker is that work is about outcomes, not time or location. As an organisation we have also always championed working out loud, both internally and externally with our clients. As a result we have always allowed our staff to work from whichever location they want on the basis that they deliver the outcomes expected.
Indeed with over 100 Rainmakers now, we still do not have any offices, and our support staff work not just all around the UK but also in many countries around the world including Portugal, South Africa and the USA. In short, working remotely is in our DNA.
Much of our client work has also been delivered remotely over the years with us only working onsite when absolutely necessary. We achieve this through the use of great collaboration tools such as Slack, G Suite, Trello, Teams etc. In fact, we encourage this type of engagement as often we are working with our clients demonstrating to them how they can transform their own ways of working.
The health and wellbeing of our staff and clients will always be a priority for us and our tools and procedures will help ensure we are well prepared to deal with the situation.
Put simply, our services will continue and we will be there to support you.
As always we encourage Rainmakers to align themselves with the practices and demands of our clients in terms of meetings, office vs home working, ensuring they make the best and most appropriate use of their time to deliver the greatest value. This will continue.
We will continue to follow government advice and guidance and are constantly monitoring any changes.
Should government advice change we will adapt accordingly and use telephone conference calls, video calls and shared co-working documents to ensure disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.
Additionally, should any of our clients require immediate use of tools such as Slack to secure lines of communication or collaboration and continuity of service, whilst needing to enforce remote working then we can provide this. This will be free of charge within the constraints of our own licensing.
Remain safe and well.
