Rainmaker’s charitable foundation, the Buffalo Foundation, is hosting a day of giving today, April 13, to raise thousands in charitable donations for the KWANO Cycling Academy.
Kwano uses cycling as a catalyst to uplift and transform the lives of disadvantaged children and communities in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Funds raised are being used to buy equipment, improve facilities and pay for after-school teachers, in order to help change children’s lives for the better.
Smarter corporate giving
Rainmaker Solutions funds all of Buffalo Foundation’s operations. That means every single penny donated goes to good causes — no middlemen or NGOs. Donations are 100% accountable — the Buffalo Foundation makes sure their designated charities’ books are sound.
“Last year was the first time we held a day of giving, and we raised £8,000 for children living in an impoverished community in South Africa. Many of the children at KWANO live in poverty, don’t eat well and struggle with school. The risks of being drawn into gangs, violence and drugs are ever present. KWANO gives them a way out and a sense of purpose.”
“We know the power of our Buffalo Foundation community to raise awareness of — and money for — improving lives and building for the future. We hope that they will again respond generously on our 2017 day of giving.”
